- Anger is an emotion brought about by your thoughts.
- Your thoughts are the way you process your world.
- To control anger you need to change your "anger" thoughts.
- You may think you have the right to be angry.
- This is a normal reaction.
- This reaction however, causes stress not peace.
- Peace is your natural state of being.
- I am not saying you should suppress your anger.
- To deal with your anger you need to strive for a peaceful state of being.
- Stop thinking that people have to treat you a certain way or behave in a certain manner.
- Expecting people to be like you want them to be only causes stress in your life, and is the cause of much anger.
- The only person you have control over is - YOU.
- Work on that person and people will magically change before your eyes.
- It is imperative that you change your thoughts from anger to peace.
If repeating a silent affirmation such as "Peace is flowing through me now" is difficult to do when you are angry I suggest playing relaxing music in the background as often as possible. Relaxing, peaceful music sends out positive, powerful energy vibrations and effects you and your environment in a positive way. A daily habit of listening to positive music or positive audio programs will eventually cause you to be filled with a positive and powerful energy that you can use to deal with your anger.
- Processing your world in an angry way is a habit that can be broken.
- How strong that habit is will determine how quickly you can become more peaceable.
- Diligence and an intention to rid yourself of anger is very important.
- You can make being at peace a habit.
- Be Proactive in your anger management leaving your Reactive & Adaptive anger away.
